I only had a morning there before having to rush back to get the train back to Tokyo. I cheated and got the cable cars most of the way up the mountain and then had a great walk back down.

We didn’t realise just how quiet it would get. Everywhere was shut! We managed to find one bar that made us a pizza… and yet an hour earlier we could have had our choice of great food from the stalls. A lesson to remember :-) It is a beautiful spot though.
