John, they were just setting up the F1 show when we visited. Clearly takes over more than half of Monaco. It’s the perfect setting (though having experienced the noise at first hand last year it must drive a lot of folks to escape town for the weekend, having rented out their pads for an arm and a leg no doubt).
No passport required- no.1 tip for anyone visiting :-)
I imagine the drive is spectacular Brett – will have to try this next time we’re in this part of the world.

All I remember are the fancy yachts on the waterfront.

While the sea-level views are impressive, the views on the drive from Nice to Monaco via the Grand Corniche are something amazing to behold! I truly recommend driving if time and budget allow!
