Mei, not sure how many of the original 51 still remain - I believe it's more than half although many were damaged in the war and have been rebuilt. Thanks also for your comment about the photos. I'm in two minds about them. When I do a picture post (like this one) I keep the images large, but when it's more of a story I make them small so as not to distract. But maybe I should just keep them large? Jade, look out for these and many other churches around the old city. You'll stumble across them without any planning; there are so many of them. Happy exploring! Thank you Mei and Jade. Mei, not sure how many of the original 51 still remain – I believe it’s more than half although many were damaged in the war and have been rebuilt. Thanks for sharing these other churches. Of course I have been to St. Pauls several times, but will add these others to my list when I'm back in London. I like the way you made your pictures larger in this post - much better than the tiny ones in the past posts because I can see the details now. awesome:) hi andy! was just wondering is there any significance in the number i.e. the 51 original churches, and how many actually remain today? also i think the phone that took the 1st calls of the Samaritans is really cool.. glad they kept it!
