I haven’t seen the Angers tapestry but I’ll look out for it if I’m travelling that way. There’s so many things to see in France!

It reminds me some moments of my life too. Reading it reminds me of another tapestrie. I don’t know if you have heard of it because it’s less famous than this, but still impressive. It’s called the “Tapestries of the Apocalypse” (translation from French, I hope there is no mistake). If you have to opportunity to visit Angers (west of France) one day, I recommand you this one.
I’ve seen it 4 times at least and each time it’s like seing something different since there are some many elements!

It’s so true, we change our views as we grow, even though as children we would swear blind that we will never be like those pesky adults :-)

Eldest daughter loved it, the younger one once walked through the museum shouting: when I am a big girl I WILL NEVER VISIT A MUSEUM AGAIN! She is 25 now and regularly asks her father: Dad, there’s a great exibition, shall we go?

So true. Makes you wonder whether we should be made to work as children, so that we can spend our adult years being educated? I enjoy the British Museum too, and can’t believe how uninterested I was when I was there as a child…

Isn’t it amazing how much more interesting history is when you’ve grown out of your childhood/teenage years? I remember falling asleep in the British Museum when I was 5, and now I could spend hours in just one room!
